Customer service expert, Chris Smoje, will be showing us how to breathe new life into stale training topics.

Chris Smoje, one of Australia’s most eminent customer service experts, will be joining us in Adelaide to share some of the ways that he has reinvented the topic of “customer service” and unpack some of the key themes that any L&D practitioner can take and apply to their programs that have also been ‘done to death’.

Chris specialises in customer service programs for organisations - big and small. However, to make a real difference to an organisation, the topic has needed to be reinvented. With over 10 years' working in learning and development leadership positions, Chris has fine tuned a way to make customer service programs different to keep up with the realities of modern business.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to convey the importance of a topic without ‘preaching’ to the audience;
  • How the use of metaphors can help shape the way audience members relate to a topic;
