About Brendan Hill
Brendan Hill specialises in the creation of innovative and memorable learning experiences that support both cultural and behavioural change.
With experience in leadership, instructional design, facilitation, and employee engagement, Brendan combines his high energy levels with intuitive insight and expertise, ensuring a process of ongoing learning that builds not only capability but excellent relationships.
An avid supporter of new technology, Brendan is particularly interested in ubiquitous learning, and how this can be blended with storytelling, gamification, and social elements, with a considerable degree of fun and humour, to create powerful learning and drive self accountability.
A self-confessed lifelong learner, curator, and risk-taker, Brendan advocates that true learning happens when learners are empowered to take an active role in their professional development. He is currently embarking on this journey in his current role as L&D Lead at Sydney Water.
Brendan is completing a Masters of Learning Sciences and Technology at the University of Sydney and has worked in L&D for over a decade across diverse industries including rail, finance, construction and media.
