Brendan Hill is passionate about researching and deploying innovative and memorable learning experiences that support both cultural and behavioural change.
A self-confessed lifelong learner, curator, and risk-taker, Brendan advocates that true learning happens when learners are put in charge of the entire process.
With experience in training transformation, instructional design, learning technologies, facilitation, program management and leading teams, Brendan cares about transforming performance and making a difference.With a passion for diagnosing and solving business problems, one of his strengths is being able to take out-of-the-box concepts and make them a reality.
His experience spans over fifteen years, delivering award-winning work in L&D across diverse industries as rail, water, finance and construction.
Brendan recently graduated from University of Sydney with Masters of Learning Sciences and Technology with research undertaken in the areas of gamification, learning ecosystems, productive failure, and ChangeLab methodologies.
Brendan’s other qualifications include a Bachelor of Communications, Diploma of Training Design and Development, Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and he is a graduate of the IECL Ignites Emerging Leaders Program.
Brendan is currently the Learning Governance Manager at Ausgrid supporting them through a significant learning and capability transformation.
