About Jennifer Wilson
Jennifer is a Director of The Project Factory, a producer of creative multiplatform /transmedia projects across web, mobile, social media, games and virtual worlds.
She is passionate about engaging with audience on any device: linking story and play to create both more meaningful experiences as well as better outcomes. Some of the projects Jennifer has worked on recently include teaching doctors better communication skills, helping people become non-smokers, exploring the Murray-Darling area through indigenous ceremony, teaching storytelling skills to young children, and a website designed to create a culture of innovation.
She has worked on projects as diverse as Sherlock: The Network, the official app for the hit BBC series; My QuitBuddy, an extremely successful and
effective quit smoking app developed for the Australian Department of Health; and Zumbo’s Just Desserts, for Channel Seven.
Jennifer was awarded ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Digital Industry’ by the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association in 2013; presented a TEDx talk on Curiosity; and continues to be inspired by (and curious about) the human-centred ways that storytelling is evolving.
