Mark J W Lee, FAITD, USA
Mark has a distinguished career in learning and development.
Mark Lee’s career in education and training began in the 1990s when he was a workplace trainer in computing and information technology. He was later employed as a head teacher at Martin College, the VET division of what was then Australia’s largest private education provider.
In 2002 Mark founded Enable Learning Solutions. Dividing his time between consulting and academia, Mark has taught for various universities in New South Wales and Victoria, and during the course of his career has published over 70 refereed journal articles, conference papers and book chapters on technology and learning.
Based in the United States for the last two and a half years, Mark has been a visiting scholar at California State University,where he was affiliated with the MERLOT project focusing on open educational resources, and more recently a visiting faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center, where he has been researching applications of games, simulations and virtual worlds in education and training.
Mark’s qualifications include a Master of Information Technology (with Distinction), Graduate Diploma of Adult and Vocational Education, Graduate Diploma of Strategic Business and Graduate Certificate in Vocational Education and Training. He is currently finishing his Doctor of Philosophy (Education) with Charles Sturt University.
