About Michelle Ockers
Michelle is an experienced Learning and Development professional with extensive experience in organisational learning strategy, learning program development and implementation, social and collaborative learning, and project management.
She is an experienced L&D leader, strategist, facilitator and Working Out Loud practitioner who has developed and delivered learning programs and complex change initiatives in manufacturing, supply chain, financial services, defence and telecommunications industries.
Michelle’s social and collaborative learning experience includes establishing and facilitating Communities of Practice to support strategic initiatives at Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA), applying social learning as part of a range of learning programs, and introducing Working Out Loud (WOL) Circles to the organisation.Under her leadership, CCA was a highly commended finalist in the AITD’s 2015 Excellence Awards for Best Use of Social and Collaborative Learning.
Michelle has also supported L&D practitioners to join and participate in public WOL Circles and spoken at several conferences about social learning.The AITD recognised her as a finalist in the 2015 L&D Professional of the Year award for her contribution to the L&D profession, largely due to her role modelling and application of social learning and WOL in the L&D community.
