Pamela Brinsmead, FAITD NSW

Pamela is MHDA Coordinator Workforce Development & Coordinator SMHSOPS at Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

She is responsible for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of recruitment and retention and workforce development initiatives for the Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol (MHDA) service. This includes the strategic issues of workforce planning, learning and development, knowledge management and the maintenance of an appropriately qualified and competent mental health and drug and alcohol workforce.

Pamela has spent over 17 years in professional development, educational and organisational development settings, in private and public health services. She is a Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing and has served on a variety of health related committees.

Her qualifications include a Master of Nursing (Nursing Management), Bachelor of Administrative Leadership, Graduate Diploma of Advanced Nursing Practice and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Pamela joined AITD in 2010 and was appointed as a Fellow of AITD in 2015.
