Summary

Join us in Sydney to hear from James Stack, learning technologist and co-founder of Obvious Choice, as he discusses microlearning.

Microlearning is the breaking down of information into topical, bite-sized chunks. By interacting with these highly-targeted learning bursts, lessons become much easier to digest and the likelihood of knowledge retention is increased. Microlearning courses are easier to develop, update and distribute compared to traditional eLearning courses and completion rates are dramatically higher.

If attention is a finite resource, a microlearning delivery strategy makes sound business sense.

This session will consider:
- How you get started with microlearning
- How to support drip feed learning with automated delivery
- Using the spacing and testing effect to commit knowledge to long-term memory
- Where microlearning fits and how to measure adoption and impact
