Profile details

We grow people & organisations as Lesley likes people. Most of all, she loves training people to train well. She likes connecting, motivating and guiding people, particularly those migrants looking to begin work in Australia and those over 50s considering their future work roles. She inspires others with her ‘why not?’ attitude. Her ability to switch from big picture thinking to detailed analysis of business operations is incredibly useful when working with small business owners and those seeking personal coaching. Having worked in a variety of industry sectors in Australia, and a few more in Kuwait and Nepal, Lesley can draw from a theoretical approach or her wide range of personal life experiences, no matter whether in a mentor, coach or trainer role. Her broad experience in career development has seen her work with early school leavers, senior managers, prisoners, older retrenches, people with disabilities, professionals and migrants. The ‘outside the box’ approach used broadens people’s view of their options and, as a result, the possible futures. Lesley’s personal interests, just like other areas of her life, are eclectic. Having been a sole parent and late to gain her academic qualifications, Lesley understands ‘life’ intervenes in the best-laid human plans. Encouraging people to become life-long learners and goal achievers because they did not quit, provides people with the support they need to "Generate New Ideas" - the Work & People tagline.
