Profile details

Steve is a qualified workplace trainer and assessor. He also holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing/ Economics and Accounting. Steve has successfully combined the delivery of computer training with the delivery of training in the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with other professional development training. This mix makes his training extra special with the combination of skills and experience from both areas. Since establishing his own training consultancy Hit F1 Computer Training in 1995, Steve has worked as a qualified workplace trainer and assessor with public and private organisations across a wide range of industries and government departments. His flexibility and ability to work in a range of environments with employees at all levels is one of Steve's greatest strengths. Steve is an infectious trainer with a great passion to share the journey of learning and help equip his students to learn as much as possible and to work smarter and not harder. He is highly rated by both his clients and his students for his approachability, preparation and desire to train and share. When delivering training, Steve utilises this experience from working in many environments to make his training relevant and practical, highlighting the most effective ways to complete tasks. He is therefore able to deliver training that is easily applicable to different work situations and experiences. Steve's training style is both personable and practical, and he trains so that his participants gain confidence in the software they are using and become productive and independent immediately, no longer having to rely upon computer manuals or the "office expert". His sessions are enjoyable and relaxed and his enthusiasm to share his knowledge and experiences with others is infectious; while being professional and flexible, ensuring the needs of all participants are met. He does insist though that trainees are not allowed to make "mistakes" while in his class - they may only have "learning experiences".
