You are invited to contribute to T&D magazine in 2026.

We’re always seeking well-informed and entertaining content, particularly on contemporary or innovative issues related to the quarterly theme.

Each quarter’s theme aligns with the subject of our national conversation; however, we always publish a number of articles unrelated to our central theme in each edition so if you have a great article in mind, we’d love to hear from you – whatever the topic.

Most of our readers are practising L&D professionals looking for ideas that they can implement in their own work. Case studies with real-life applications, new concepts and practices, innovative technologies and expert tips all make great subject matter. Articles can take the form of feature articles, opinion pieces, interviews, infographics, ‘how to’ guides and so on.

Top tips when drafting articles for T&D magazine:

  • Articles should be unbiased, informative and free of commercial content and self-promotion
  • Articles should be original, and should not have been published elsewhere
  • Please be careful when using AI tools to write articles—it is very obvious when AI-drafted articles have not been edited by a human
  • There is no fixed word count, but between 1,200 and 1,400 words works well

Here, you’ll find regularly published articles exploring trends, research, and practical insights in L&D. Many of these pieces are contributed by our members and partners, and some are articles originally submitted for T&D magazine that we couldn’t fit into print. In fact, we receive more than three times as many submissions as we have space for, so our new online platform ensures we can share even more valuable content with the AITD community.

We welcome article submissions for the website at any time. There’s no set theme. Your article simply needs to relate to training, learning and development in some way.
