Intimate understanding of the Australian Vocational & Educational Training system and its application to the transport industry. Motivated to learn, grow, and excel in every endeavour.
Ok, so that is the sanitised, "resume" version of about me. What that statement does not capture is the passion I have for my craft. The transport industry is a complex and confusing beast - adding Vocational Education and Training to the diet of that beast only intensifies that confusing complexity. It is at this nexus that I thrive. I want to be part of creating the next generation of transport workers, a generation that has the technical skill and the appropriate mindset to be safe, to be committed, to be open minded, to be flexible, to be multi-purpose... in short, I want the next generation to be the best that they can be.
So, you will find me SUCCESSFUL in any role that joins VET and Transport, be that technical training or facilitation, or instructional design; but, you will see me THRIVE in a position that is focused on partnering with industry leaders to develop, contextualise and implement training solutions that will create that new generation of transport workers.
