Dr Cathryn Lloyd is the founding director of Maverick Minds, a boutique, creative human-development service that helps individuals, teams and groups work creatively well through coaching and facilitation. She is an educator, author and creative arts practitioner.
With a visual arts and design background, she brings a multi-disciplinary approach to working with others by drawing on experiential, practice-led, arts-based and action-learning methodologies, reflective practice and various facilitation processes. Cathryn’s client base includes engineering, accounting, health, government bodies, microbusiness entrepreneurs and creative practitioners. Cathryn loves co-creating with people who want to create positive change personally and professionally.
Cathryn is the co-author of The Story Cookbook: Practical Recipes for Change and forthcoming book, Facilitating with Stories: Ethics, Reflective Practice and Philosophies. She is the author of Seriously Playful Creativity: An A to Z of Creative Action and Reflection.
She holds a doctorate in creative industries and is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). She also holds the following accreditations:
- Global Team Coaching Individual Accreditation (ITCA)
- Accredited Master Facilitator (Institute for Learning Professionals)
- Accredited Practitioner Team Management System (TMS)
