‘AITD Conference 2024’, Pre-Conference Welcome & Network Event, Adelaide SA
The AITD SA Divisional Council are excited to invite you all to the ‘AITD Conference 2024: Welcome & Network Event’ held in Adelaide, South Australia.
Our Welcome & Network Event is booked for Wednesday 12 June 2024 at the ‘Malt Shovel Tap House – Adelaide’, located underneath the Adelaide Festival Centre and Festival Plaza. Our selected venue overlooks the picturesque Torrens Riverbank Precinct and the Adelaide Oval, both of which will be under lights as the evening progresses. If you decide to make the four-minute walk across the Torrens River to the Adelaide Oval, you’ll be rewarded with unforgettable views of our magnificent City by night.
Our Welcome & Network Event will facilitate the ‘meeting and greeting’ of your fellow AITD members as well as L&D professionals from across the state, the country, and the world. To ‘enhance’ our meeting & greeting techniques, the AITD SA Divisional Council will incorporate the ‘always-intuitive-and-always-helpful’ medium of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the mix. In a not-too-serious way, AI may support what we DO know, what we DON’T know, and what we THINK we know, when it comes to meeting & greeting!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) within a Learning & Development environment will be the focus at our Welcome & Network Event. You can takeaway several AI and ML ‘learnings’ via:
- Engaging and interactive face-to-face & smart phone activities used within a live (and lively) setting.
- Chalking-up ‘Trial & Error’ examples using your newfound AI and ML specific ‘learnings’.
- Enhancing (or downgrading) your very own ‘welcome, intro & network’ techniques, courtesy of AI.

- Attendees with an ‘AITD Conference 2024’ registered ticket: FREE/$0.00. Please email courses@aitd.com.au to receive a promotional code to register for this event.
- SA-based AITD member without an ‘AITD Conference 2024’ registered ticket: $30.00.
- SA-based non-member without an ‘AITD Conference 2024’ registered ticket: $45.00.
- The Malt Shovel Tap House - Adelaide kitchen will provide platters with a variety of light refreshments, including Vegetarian, Dairy Free and Gluten Free options.
- Two (2) complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine and/or beer) are included in the ‘AITD Conference 2024’ ticket price for ALL registered ticketholders.
- Non-alcoholic beverages will also be served at the event.
- Additional beverages and/or food (bar snacks, light meals and/or dinner) can be purchased by individuals, at own cost, throughout the evening.
