Presenter:
Dr Juanita Weissensteiner
Dr Juanita Weissensteiner is the Principal Advisor of Talent Pathways for the NSW Office of Sport and leads the NSW Government’s Future Champions strategy. Prior to this appointment, Juanita was the National Manager of the Athlete Pathways and Development section at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).
A physiotherapist by background and PhD (Cricket Australia/AIS/University of QLD), Juanita is an original co-author of the FTEM (Foundation, Talent, Elite and Mastery) Athlete Development framework utilised to inform the review, refinement and support of the entire athlete pathway from a foundational to a podium level.

Rebecca Neale, NSW Office of Sport
Rebecca is currently the Executive Officer of the South East Sports Academy (SESA). Rebecca was involved in the establishment of SESA and is responsible for its strategic direction and operational management. SESA currently offers six sport and two individual athlete programs, supporting more than 150 athletes and 20 coaches.
Rebecca has extensive experience and understanding of sport pathways and has a Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sport Science. Rebecca worked as a Sport Scientist for more than 7 years. During this time Rebecca delivered sport science services to a diverse range of athletes from pre-elite to Olympic / International level.
Andrew Napier – Principal Consultant (Learning Pan)
Andrew is a skilled facilitator and learning design professional who has broad experience in the education sector, working in multiple education spaces across Australia, Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He has extensive experience in managing complex end-to-end learning projects for the Australian government, Higher Education and VET sectors, as well as corporate and secondary education. Andrew’s expertise in learning design is significant, mastering skills in consulting, learning needs analysis, learning design, development, and evaluation. Andrew has extensive secondary teaching and pastoral care experience gained through working in schools in Australia, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
