AITD Facilitator: Loretta Mitchell
Loretta's Learning & Development expertise includes extensive program creation and facilitation along with strategy and management. She further supports behavioural change across organisations through leadership coaching and assessment tools. Loretta’s approach brings together the latest research and evidence-backed techniques with her 25+ years’ practical experience developing teams across Asia Pacific, the UK, and the US. Prior to starting her own learning business, Loretta held national and international L&D and People & Culture accountability for leading corporate and partnership organisations, along with consulting to Government, SMEs, Not-for-Profit and start-ups.
Loretta has a strong focus on helping organisations to apply neuroscience findings to enhance leadership, learning and performance, creating environments where every member of the team can perform and thrive.
Loretta is also committed to playing the L&D 'long game', volunteering since 2016 to teach critical thinking and reasoning skills to primary school students through the Primary Ethics program. Loretta is driven by The Ethic Centre’s Dr Simon Longstaff’s view that 'In time, it will be the decisions of the children we teach today that will shape the world'.
