The role
We currently have a vacancy for a Full-Time Retail Development Partner (VIC/TAS) in Mount Waverley to join our National Workforce Development team.
You’ll be responsible for consulting with regional stakeholders, identifying training needs, developing and facilitating training for new and existing personnel within Salvos
Stores.
Requirements of the role:
- Facilitate induction/role orientation training sessions for new retail employees and assess competence at completion of the training
- In consultation with the National Workforce Development Team Leader and Manager, partner with key stakeholders across Salvos Stores to develop training packages and modules for business initiatives identified
- Lead the regional roll out of national Projects and Process
- Compile training reports for the line manager detailing training activities and anomalies as required
- Work collaboratively with retail store, area and regional managers to determine priorities and develop integrated solutions that deliver key outcomes
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learning activities for the Workforce Development experience
About you:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Relevant industry knowledge (retail) preferable but not essential
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or Diploma of Business (or similar)
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
- A national police record check is required
- Must maintain a current and valid police check
- Current driver’s licence
- The ability to travel interstate and regionally, including overnight stays when required
- Ensure that all mandatory compliance training and refreshers are completed and up to date
