Panellists:
Sue Ellson
Sue Ellson is an Independent LinkedIn Specialist, author, educator, practitioner and consultant. She is also a gigster, a person who uses technology to attract aligned gigs and former banker. Sue provides teaching, training, speaking and consulting services to individuals, small, medium and large businesses, corporates, schools, universities, associations and government in Australia and overseas. She is the author of five non-fiction books on the topics of LinkedIn, Careers, Business, Hyper Local Marketing and Gigsters and her next two books will be poetry books. Since completing her university studies, she has been attending up to four events every week to keep herself up to date. Sue is also the Founder of Newcomers Network. After hours, Sue enjoys catching up with family and friends, walking and dancing.
Tee-Jay Ramnarain-Little
Tee-Jay Ramnarain-Little prides herself on being a 'lifelong learner'; that's demonstrated by the breadth of her career experience. She is the Lead Talent Promoter & Connector across Australia, NZ & APAC for the LHH Team. She loves helping people develop Careers that they love by reminding them how amazing they are! She’s an LHH Win4Youth Well-being Ambassador, which entailed becoming a Triathlete in 2022 & Mentor in 2023.She believes wholeheartedly in the integrity of ‘walking the talk’, so when it comes to LinkedIn, she’s doing all the things she is suggesting today & more. She also says that she recommends LinkedIn because there is literally nothing else like it for business professionals – if there were anything better, she’d willingly recommend that.
Rodney (Rod) Beach
Rod is the Founder and Group Managing Director of Liberate Learning, a revered provider of custom end-to-end digital, blended and face-to-face learning solutions. Liberate Learning work with some of the biggest brands in Australia across the public, private and tertiary sectors.
Rod's efforts in shaping the learning and development sector have been acknowledged with a number of awards and nominations, including the 2023 Telstra Best of Business (Innovation winner), 2022 Telstra Business Growth (finalist), 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award (Asia Pac ILP), named a Top 50 Business Leaders in Australia (MyBusiness, 2020), and formally recognised as a ‘Distinguished Alumnus’ by Federation University, 2019. Rod was also recognised as the AITD Learning and Development Professional of the Year in 2018.
Over the years Rod has leveraged LinkedIn as a key tool to successfully grow and promote Liberate Learning. As a recognised leader in the Australian L&D industry and a Fellow of the AITD, Rod also supports our community by frequently sharing his insights and knowledge in articles and videos on the platform, earning him a following among industry veterans and newcomers alike.
